Barceló (Occidental) Praha Succeeded in the Certification of BIO 9000

The four-star Barceló (Occidental) Praha hotel, which is part of the international hotel chain Barceló Hotel Group, has succeeded in the BIO 9000 certification. The certification belongs to the set of rules of the safety and hygiene program WCAY (WeCareAboutYou) to ensure maximum safety and trust for guests and staff.

The program was created in accordance with the regulations of the World Health Organization, a team of medical experts and the top management of the chain. The hotel must always be ready for an unannounced audit from the company's headquarters, which takes place every eight weeks. The hotel is open, adapted to the actual governmental restrictions. It offers the possibility of hybrid events in its spacious conference rooms with daylight and openable windows.

Barceló has 250 hotels with 55.000 rooms in 22 countries. The beginnings of the family hotel company are in 1931. The company, which started with passenger transport, became one of the largest hotel chains within the ninety years thanks to the work of three generations of the Barceló family. The region of the Czech Republic includes three Prague hotels Occidental Praha, Occidental Praha Five, Occidental Praha Wilson and one hotel in Soth Moravia Barceló Brno Palace.
