In September, GUARANT International Brought Experts in Paediatric Anaesthesiology and Fans of Magical World to Prague

Two prestigious events from different spheres of life took place in Prague at the beginning of autumn 2023 orchestrated by GUARANT International: a congress of European experts in paediatric anaesthesiology and a meeting of admirers of the world of magic from Central Europe.

From 28 to 30 September 2023, the prestigious 13th European Congress for Paediatric Anaesthesiology was held at the Cubex Centre Prague. Experts from 56 countries gathered at the event to share their knowledge and exchange views in the field of paediatric anaesthesia. The entire program was focused on recent advancements, the latest techniques in the field, and on social gatherings outside the operating rooms.

The scientific content of the congress covered a wide range of professional topics. Among other things, it also included popular practical ultrasound workshops led by experts from the Czech Republic or practical debates on specific solutions of problems, always in small working groups.

In addition to the scientific sessions, the congress also offered, under the direction of GUARANT International, a social program, which included the opening ceremony or also the social dinner with entertainment presenting the cultural background of the Czech Republic.

This year's event also included the annual charity morning run. The funds raised will be used for a scholarship for the ESPA Congress 2024 participants from developing countries.

At the beginning of September, the magical LexiCon 2023 event took place in the premises of the City Conference Centre and the Cubex Centre Prague. With the participation of 1,500 fans of the wizarding world, LexiCon is the largest festival of its kind in Central Europe. The space in which the magical event took place was transformed into a real production line of wands and pens, and all participants had the opportunity to become wizards and create their own magical objects, listen to thematic lectures, or take pictures with the stars of the Harry Potter movie. The authenticity of the atmosphere was perfectly complemented by fans in beautiful costumes: from the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry students to well-known heroes of the fantasy world, they all created amazing characters that took the participants of the event into the depths of the world of magic, creativity, and fun. 

Both September events thus successfully kicked off the Prague autumn season for GUARANT International, including several other scientific, technical and medical meetings.
