Enjoy the Chefs’ Specialities in the Best Prague Restaurants

Every year at the turn of November and December, a list of the TOP 10 restaurants in the Czech Republic is announced within the independent national guide “Maurerův výběr Grand Restaurant”. Out of the TOP 10, Prague restaurants took eight places. The ranking annually evaluates more than a thousand restaurants in the Czech Republic, and it is based on the voting of registered users from the general public. The voters rate the restaurants in three categories: food quality, service and interior.

The second place in the ranking was occupied by the Zlatá Praha restaurant offering local Czech as well as international cuisine. The newly refurbished restaurant is a part of the Intercontinental Hotel, and it is located on the top floor with a breathtaking view of the city centre, Prague Castle and Vltava River. Together with the terrace, Zlatá Praha is able to accommodate up to 250 people for the reception.

The “bronze medal” belongs to the Michelin star award-winning Alcron restaurant that you can find in the Radisson Blu Alcron Hotel Prague. The interior’s intimate atmosphere of candles, its images of dancing couples in New York and with its fireplace from the thirties offer an intimate seating for a mere 24 guests.

V Zátiší and Bellevue restaurants, both run by Zátiší Catering Group, took the sixth and seventh place. While enjoying the international specialities at the Bellevue restaurants, the experienced staff at V Zátiší will excite you by Indian and Czech dishes. Bellevue restaurant, with its unrivalled view of Charles Bridge and glass decorations, can host up to 120 people in the largest room. Various smaller and cosy rooms are awaiting you at V Zátiší restaurant creating an ideal set-up for a wide range of business meetings. The total capacity of the restaurant is up to 120 people.

The ninth place went to the Midtown Grill steakhouse at the Prague Marriott Hotel. If you are a bourbon lover, this place is tailor-made for you!
