Pivnice Obecní dům (Municipal House Beer Hall) Opens New Taproom

Pivnice Obecní dům is introducing a new feature that will delight all lovers of perfectly served beer – they have opened a new tap at the entrance to the pub.

Vyšehrad 2000 catering company took this step with one goal in mind: to bring the tap and their tap masters closer to guests, create a more welcoming atmosphere, and further enhance the experience of visiting the pub. The new tap allows faster service, better interaction with the bartenders, and brings the true essence of traditional Czech hospitality. 

Since its opening on January 5, 1912, Pivnice Obecní dům has proudly upheld the First Republic tradition of quality gastronomy and top-tier beer service.
