US & Canada MICE Roadshow Celebrated Success
The Prague Convention Bureau, in partnership with Prague Airport and CzechTourism USA & Canada, successfully organized the US and Canada MICE Roadshow in three major North American cities: New York, Toronto, and Los Angeles. The event, taking place from September 30 to October 3, highlighted Prague as a premier meeting and incentive destination.
With participation from seven hotel, venue, and DMC partners from the Czech Republic, the roadshow engaged 110 clients and generated numerous promising leads. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about Prague’s offerings, its rich blend of historical and modern attractions, and its suitability for various events including meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE). Clients also had a chance to win exciting prizes, including stay in Prague.
“Moreover, the Prague Convention Bureau, together with Air Canada, proudly announced the upcoming direct flight from Toronto to Prague starting in summer 2025. This new route will further enhance accessibility for Canadian travelers and is expected to boost tourism and business travel, making Prague an even more attractive destination,” says Martina Fundaro.
The Prague Convention Bureau extends its gratitude to all partners and attendees for their vital cooperation and support in making this roadshow a resounding success.
We Couldn’t Miss This Year’s IMEX America

Marking the Partnership Between Prague and Phoenix
On October 19, the Prague Convention Bureau attended "The Mayor’s International 2024" event with the Mayor of Phoenix, Kate Gallego. This event was co-hosted by the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Los Angeles, and marked a significant celebration of the special partnership between Sister Cities Prague and Phoenix. The gathering brought together Arizona's business and political leaders, and was also attended by the Czech Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. The Prague Convention Bureau had the unique opportunity to invite their clients to this event, as Arizona is a very important headquarters city for companies such as HelmsBriscoe, HPN Global, and Global Cynergies.
“Mayor Gallego and the representatives from Prague emphasized the importance of this partnership in fostering cultural exchange, economic growth, and mutual understanding. The presence of prominent business and political figures highlighted the strong support and enthusiasm for the continued development of this relationship,” adds Martina Fundaro.
Held at Chateau Luxe in Phoenix, Arizona, the evening was filled with enriching conversations, connections, and shared visions for the future. Entertainment for the night included folk tales performed by the Czechoslovak-American Marionette Theatre.
