The Occidental Praha Hotel According to the Latest Trends in Conference Business

The four star hotel Occidental Praha, member of Barceló Hotel Group, has created together with the professionals in audio-visual technical equipment a new conference concept called „Flexi Meeting Room“.

The hotel offers 230 guest rooms and 9 meeting rooms, where the largest meeting room can host up to 300 delegates. All conference rooms are located on the same floor and besides two meeting rooms, all are equipped with movable walls to play with the space up to the client’s wishes.

This size of the hotel in four-star category with such meeting room capacity, located in well accessible business district Prague 4 is highly demanded. But the hotel wanted to offer to conference clients something more, something trendy, creative, high-tech, user friendly and practical.

It has been invested nearly 500.000 CZK into new LDC screens 98´´ (222 x 125 cm), the second largest existing size of LCD´s.  The screens are located on mobile stands, not fixed on the walls.

There is no need to make the meeting room dark by this type of projection in comparison to the traditional use of data projector with a screen. As well the quality of the modern image technologies, quality of presentations or videos by LCD´s screen cannot be forgotten. 

Another conference type, which became so common, even after Covid era, are hybrid conferences. Therefore, the investment into the “Flexi Meeting Room” concept included a purchase of mobile “Rally Bar”, as a complex solution for a professional video conference. All in one solution with camera, microphone and reproduction, communicating with zoom, MS Teams or Google Meet, the main platforms, which the clients for the video conferences are using.
