For the Fourteenth Time, Prague Has Awarded Leading Experts for Their Contribution to Meetings Industry

Six personalities who significantly contributed to the development of the meetings industry in Prague were acknowledged during the 14th Ambassador Awards Evening on Tuesday, 8th April. The laureates received prestigious awards at the Residence of the Mayor of Prague. Prague Convention Bureau, which overarches the Prague meetings industry, together with representatives of the City of Prague and the Ministry of Regional Development, awarded leading Czech scientists, professors, doctors and other leading experts for their merits in bringing important international events to the metropolis of Czechia.

Prague Convention Bureau’s Ambassador Program in the Sign of Education

For more than ten years, the Ambassador Program at the Prague Convention Bureau (PCB) has been connecting local experts who are actively involved in attracting prestigious international congresses and conferences to Prague and offering them comprehensive support. In doing so, the PCB also strengthens Prague's reputation as a top meetings destination, contributes to the development of individual scientific disciplines and creates opportunities for knowledge exchange on a global level.

We Introduced the Beauty of Christmas Prague to Almost Thirty Foreign Buyers

For the winter season of 2024 we prepared two fam trips for international hosted buyers, during which they had the opportunity not only to get to know the meetings offer of the Czech capital, but also to enjoy the pre-Christmas time in one of the traditionally most beautiful festive cities in the world. Buyers from three overseas markets - Mexico, Brazil and the USA - accepted the invitation to winter Prague.

Polish Journalists Explore Prague’s Meetings Offerings

In mid-November, two Polish B2B MICE journalists embarked on a three-day press trip to Prague, where they had the opportunity to explore the city's diverse congress, meetings, and incentive offerings. The visit allowed the journalists to experience firsthand the vibrant MICE scene in the Czech capital, gaining a deeper understanding of its potential for hosting international events.

Autumn Season Marked by Fam Trips for Foreign Buyers

The Prague Convention Bureau, in cooperation with its partners, has prepared several fam trips for foreign buyers from various markets around the world for the autumn season. So far, the last one was a fam trip for group of German clients, which took place in the second half of October. Two more fam trips for buyers from the Latin America region and the USA will follow in November and December.

Prague is Busy Presenting Meetings Industry at the US Market

Prague Convention Bureau has been lately busy at the US Market, presenting the city’s vast meetings options to the American audience. Martina Fundaro, PCB’s representative at the North American market, attended several events across the region, further spreading the updates from Prague. On top of that, the Prague Convention Bureau together with partners co-organized its own roadshow, welcoming more than 100 clients altogether.
