ambassador program

The Ambassador Program brings together local congress ambassadors who provide professional auspices and expertise for events that may be held in Prague. A congress ambassador represents the destination while also contributing to the work of the scientific, programme, or organising committees of association meetings. Ambassadors include Czech representatives of international professional associations based in the Czech Republic, as well as distinguished Czech scientists.

How Can We Help You?

Our free-of-charge support will make your journey towards a successful international meeting easier.

Connecting with local suppliers

We connect you with verified suppliers of congress services, such as event organizers (PCO and DMC companies) and providers of conference facilities, accommodation, and other services (AV equipment, catering, transportation, hostesses, etc.). If you are interested, we can request price quotes and secure proposals from individual suppliers on your behalf.

Tailor-made Bid Proposal

We will guide you through the entire bidding process and prepare a custom-made graphic presentation – a bid book. This document includes key facts about Prague as a meeting  destination, along with details on suitable conference and social venues and accommodation options relevant to your event. The bid book also incorporates the securing of letters of support or official auspices.

Destination Support

We will help you arrange free public transport passes for delegates attending congresses with more than 500 participants and provide marketing and media support for your event. Finally, we will assist you in processing applications for congress funding provided by the City of Prague. Detailed information regarding grant calls for the current period and the necessary forms can be found on the City of Prague’s website.

Inspection Visits

We arrange inspection visits to Prague for members of decision-making committees tailored to your specific needs. We will create an itinerary for inspecting selected conference facilities, event venues, and hotels. We will assist in securing suitable accommodation at special rates and organize transfers throughout the entire visit. A qualified representative of the Prague Convention Bureau will be available to the visitors at all times during the trip.

The Ambassador Program brings together scientists with experience in organising both major congresses and smaller conferences. They can identify topical subjects and engage relevant colleagues, particularly those from the younger generation, encouraging them to consider hosting a congress. They can also demonstrate how organising meetings can create opportunities to build connections effective networks.
