Prague Public Transportation Fare
Prague public transportation system is appreciated for its safety, efficiency and reliability. That is why it is popular among both residents and visitors to the city. The City of Prague offers free-of-charge travel on this system to delegates of international meetings (with at least 20% of international participants) of a non-profit (association) character with more than 500 participants and a program scheduled for at least 3 days. Organizers can apply for digital transportation passes through the Prague Convention Bureau several months before the start of their conference. The programme of discounted tickets (half-prize) for other conferences is operated exclusively by the Prague Public Transit Company, including accepting of organizers’ applications.

Financial Grants to Support the Congress Industry
The City of Prague has long supported the development of congress and incentive tourism as an important segment with significant benefits for inbound tourism as well as the city’s international prestige. Prague City Hall – Department of Culture and Tourism has an annual grant program aimed at supporting multi-day association congresses and conferences, as well as multi-day events of national or international significance, held within the city, meeting the established criteria, and contributing to the development of tourism. If you are interested in organizing an event in Prague, we recommend monitoring the official calls for grant applications or contacting business events team of the Prague Convention Bureau, where we will be happy to assist you with this process.
