After 11 years, the Happiness@Work conference is entering a new stage and becoming the Exponential Summit. To its core themes of people, leadership and company culture, it adds technology and the social impact of business. It is a response to the rapid transformation of how we work, make decisions and lead companies. The first Exponential Summit will take place on 9 February 2027 at the Prague Congress Centre, and the organisers expect more than 800 participants.

Over eleven years, Happiness@Work focused mainly on the human side of how companies work. It raised questions of company culture, leadership, collaboration and the work environment. The Exponential Summit builds on this experience and widens it with topics that have been shaping how organisations function.

AI and other technologies are changing the way people work and make decisions, as well as the roles they play in companies. Alongside performance, trust and a healthy company culture, leaders therefore also deal with new technologies, the speed of change and the impact of their decisions on the world around them.

“For eleven years, Happiness@Work focused mainly on the human side of business – on how to build companies that work well and where people feel good. But the world has changed a lot since then. Today we can no longer look only at people, because technology is transforming work and whole companies faster and faster. That is why we are building the Exponential Summit on three pillars: people, technology and social impact. We want to look at all three together and in context,” says Michal Šrajer, founder of Happiness@Work and partner at Red Button EDU.

From Happiness@Work to a broader view of leadership

The new name does not mean Happiness@Work is leaving behind the topics it grew on. People remain one of the Summit’s three main pillars, joined by technology and society.

The Exponential Summit does not aim to offer one universal answer to how companies should handle rapid change. Its goal is to bring together different perspectives and experience from different countries, industries and companies.

For people who lead and prepare change

The Summit is designed primarily for CEOs, board members and leaders, HR, L&D and Talent Development professionals or anyone who wants to better understand how technology is changing work, leadership and society.

The one-day programme will combine keynotes, panel discussions and case studies with workshops, round tables and other formats in which participants can take an active part. Networking, an EXPO and experience zones will also be part of the day.

11 years of Happiness@Work, 10 years of Red Button

The Summit’s new chapter also comes as Red Button celebrates its tenth anniversary. Over those years, it has built a community of people who share their experience with leadership, company culture, collaboration and organisational development.

The Exponential Summit that will take place on 9 February 2027 at the Prague Congress Centre, builds on this experience and on the eleven-year history of Happiness@Work, taking the original question of how to build companies that work well for people into the wider context of technological and social change.
