Towards the end of the winter meetings season, the Prague Convention Bureau organized a press trip for five journalists representing leading international media outlets focused on the meetings industry. Over the course of three days, the participants had the opportunity to discover Prague not only as a city rich in cultural heritage and unique festive atmosphere, but also as a modern, professional, and innovative destination for hosting world-class events.

From November 26 to 28, representatives of the following media visited the Czech capital: Think MICE, ICJ Ambassador, Conference & Incentive Magazine (CIM), Travelmole.com, and Event Point International.

The press trip programme included tours of meeting, social, and hotel facilities, as well as teambuilding and incentive activities that showcased the bohemian spirit of the city. Highlights included a teambuilding violin lesson, a guided tour of the newly opened Mucha Museum led personally by Mr. Mucha, and visits to iconic Prague landmarks such as Prague Castle and the Municipal House. The programme also provided opportunities for personal meetings with local MICE professionals and service providers, allowing the journalists to gain deeper insight into the structure and functioning of Prague’s meeting ecosystem.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all partners involved in the organization of the press trip: Vienna House by Wyndham Andel’s Prague for accommodating the participants, Prague City Tourism for providing the Prague Visitor Passes for the journalists, Catalyst Czech Republic, Máj House of Fun, Fashion Arena Prague Outlet for arranging incentive programs, as well as Vyšehrad 2000, Mucha Museum, 420 Restaurant, Lobkowicz Palace, Vienna House by Wyndham Diplomat Prague, Occidental Praha, Sir Prague, Prague Exhibition Grounds, and Červený jelen Restaurant for hosting site visits and providing refreshment during the press trip. Transfers were arranged by ADO Services. The press trip was supported financially by CzechTourism / Czech Convention Bureau.
