For the past six months, Vlad Cimuca has been leading Courtyard by Marriott Prague Airport while also overseeing the Courtyard by Marriott properties in Brno and Pilsen. He brings more than two decades of international hospitality experience, with a strong background in hotel operations, commercial strategy, revenue management and team development.
Before relocating to the Czech Republic, Vlad served as General Manager of Courtyard by Marriott Bucharest Floreasca, where he successfully drove commercial growth and enhanced guest satisfaction. His leadership style is built on collaboration, empowerment and developing talented teams, creating an environment focused on both employee engagement and outstanding guest experiences.

His achievements have been recognized through prestigious awards such as the “Best General Manager – Spirit Award 2023” and “Top Performer Hotel 2024”. In his current role, Vlad focuses on the continued development of the Prague Airport, Brno and Pilsen properties while strengthening relationships with business partners and supporting the meetings and events sector.
A graduate of the Romanian-American University with a Master’s degree in Business Management in Tourism, Vlad speaks Romanian, English and Hungarian. Outside of work, he enjoys travelling, exploring new cultures and discovering new culinary experiences, interests that continue to inspire his approach to hospitality and guest care.
