At the beginning of June, Prague Convention Bureau hosted a press trip for five international journalists representing leading travel and meetings industry media outlets. The three-day familiarization trip showcased Prague as a premier destination for conferences and events, highlighting its wide range of venues, high-quality services, and diverse opportunities for hosting events of all sizes and formats.
The press trip took place from June 1 to 3, and welcomed media representatives from France (DeplacementPros), Switzerland (Primus Publishing), Greece (Travel Daily News), Turkey (Aviation Turkey), and Italy (Quality Travel).
The program featured site inspections of conference venues, event spaces, and hotels across the city. To kick off the visit, participants took part in an interactive quiz designed to introduce them to Prague and the Czech Republic, covering topics such as geography, politics, sports, architecture, and culture. The itinerary also included tours of Prague’s key landmarks and museums, as well as opportunities to taste traditional Czech cuisine.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all partners who contributed to the successful organization of the press trip. Special thanks go to Hilton Prague Atrium for providing accommodation; Prague City Tourism for supplying Prague Visitor Passes to all participants; QUIX Event, INNSiDE by Meliá Prague Old Town, and Máj House of Fun for organizing incentive activities; and Mucha Museum, Signal Space, Occidental Praha, Prague Marriott Hotel, Hard Rock Cafe Prague, Prague Congress Centre, Cubex Centre Prague, Zátiší Catering, Ambiente, and the Červený Jelen (Red Stag) restaurant for hosting site inspections and providing refreshments. Transportation services throughout the program were provided by ADO Services.
