This October, Hard Rock Prague joins the 27th annual global PINKTOBER campaign, raising awareness of the importance of breast cancer prevention and research.
Hard Rock Cafe Prague is once again taking part in the global PINKTOBER campaign, which aims to raise awareness of breast cancer and support prevention, research and people affected by the disease. Throughout October, guests will have several ways to get involved, from a charity concert and a special food and beverage menu to a limited-edition PINKTOBER collection. A portion of the proceeds from selected activities will be donated to the Czech nonprofit organization Loono.
Charity Concert to Support Prevention
One of the highlights of PINKTOBER in Prague will be a charity concert on October 22, starting at 8:00 p.m. at Hard Rock Cafe Prague. Three talented young acts will perform during the evening: Nikol Votrubová with her band, Jakub Šlechtický and Renato Salermo.
Admission to the concert will be donation-based, with all proceeds from admission going to Loono. Through its team of young doctors and medical students, the organization has long promoted prevention and healthy lifestyles. Its work includes awareness and prevention relating to cancer, cardiovascular conditions, reproductive health and mental health.
Guests Can Also Help by Purchasing the PINKTOBER Collection
Throughout October, visitors to Hard Rock Cafe Prague can also support the cause by purchasing items from the special PINKTOBER collection, including T-shirts, hoodies, stickers and collectible pins. As with the concert, a portion of the proceeds from sales will be donated to Loono.
The PINKTOBER program will also include a Loono workshop on hormonal health on Thursday, October 22, starting at 6:00 p.m. Participants will explore four stages of a woman’s life and the hormonal changes associated with them, from puberty and the importance of HPV vaccination to hormones and the menstrual cycle, the postpartum period, baby blues, postpartum depression, menopause and climacteric syndrome. They will learn how hormones affect physical and mental well-being, how to recognize common signs of hormonal changes and how to care for themselves at different stages of life. The workshop will also include practical breast self-examination training. Admission is CZK 200, with all proceeds supporting Loono. The price includes the workshop, a welcome pink mocktail and a gift from Dermacol.
On Saturday, October 24, at 9:30 a.m., Hard Rock Cafe Prague will also host a Pinktober Yoga Class. The class costs CZK 350, and ticket proceeds will be donated to Loono. Reservations can be made online through the Hard Rock Cafe Prague booking system using the note WORKSHOP/YOGA. Both special events offer guests the opportunity to enjoy a meaningful experience while supporting education and prevention in women’s health.
A Special Menu Adds a Pink Touch to October
PINKTOBER will also be reflected in the menu at Hard Rock Cafe Prague. Throughout October, guests can enjoy special food and drinks inspired by the campaign’s signature pink color.
The Pink Power Bowl features grilled salmon served over a mix of quinoa, farro and arugula, accompanied by roasted beetroot, pickled red onion and radish. The dish is finished with whipped lemon feta, lemon vinaigrette and toasted seeds.
Non-alcoholic options include the Berry Lychee Spritz, a refreshing blend of ginger beer, soda water, lychee purée, mixed berries, lemon and basil. Cocktail lovers can try the Hibiscus PinkRITA, a twist on the margarita made with Teremana Blanco tequila, Cointreau, lime juice and hibiscus syrup.
PINKTOBER Brings Hard Rock Together Around the World
“PINKTOBER is a wonderful example of how music, food and shared experiences can support a good cause. We are delighted to take part in this global initiative here in Prague and to support Loono through our activities. The organization has long been dedicated to prevention and education,” says Marina Lednová, General Manager of Hard Rock Cafe Prague.
Hard Rock International has supported the PINKTOBER campaign for 27 years. Hard Rock hotels, casinos, cafes, Rock Shops and digital platforms around the world take part in the initiative. Through the Hard Rock Heals Foundation®, the company supports projects focused on breast cancer prevention, awareness and research. Since the campaign began, it has raised more than USD 15 million.
This year, Hard Rock Cafe Prague is connecting the global initiative with its support for Loono, aiming to highlight the importance of prevention and early detection of cancer.
