This October, Hard Rock Cafe Prague joins the global Pinktober campaign to build breast cancer awareness, support prevention and contribute to research and treatment of the disease.

The twenty-sixth season of the campaign will be supported by several activities:

  • On 16 October at 8:00 p.m., a charity concert will take place, featuring seven young performers
  • Throughout October, special edition of “Stay Strong” charity merchandise will be on sale.

On Thursday, 16 October, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., seven young talented artists will take turns on the stage of Hard Rock Cafe Prague. The evening will start with singer Lenka Konvičková, who performs under the stage name KETTIE. Other performers will be Anastázie Breiová, Eli Svejkovská, rapper WhyLow, singer Patrick Gabriel, singer Jakub Šlechtický and Roman Štorek aka Raen Moon.

Admission fees to the concert will be voluntary and all proceeds will go to the Loono Foundation: a team of young doctors and medical students who aim to educate the public in the topics of healthy lifestyle and prevention of reproductive, oncological, mental and cardiovascular diseases. In addition, guests will have an opportunity to have their lips made up in the shades of Pinktober by the Dermacol brand.

Breast cancer is a disease that affects individuals and their loved ones in our community and around the world. We are proud to be engaged in Hard Rock’s global efforts within Pinktober and we are grateful to the guests who join us in search of a way to find a cure,” said Martina Lednová, General Manager of Hard Rock Cafe Prague.

This year’s charity merchandise – an exclusive collection of badges, T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, thermal mugs and bags – was created in cooperation with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit and is available until 31 October at the Rock Shop on Malé náměstí in Prague and also online at shop.hardrock.com. Part of the proceeds from sales as part of the Pinktober campaign will go to the Loono Foundation again.

From 1 October to 30 November (during Native American Heritage Month), Hard Rock will be selling a special STRONGER TOGETHER badge designed by Seminole artist Wilson Bowers at shop.hardrock.com. 100% of the proceeds will go to the support of American Indian Cancer Foundation.
