The legendary, almost one-hundred-year-long history of the Alcron hotel revives in the new concept of the Brasserie 1932 restaurant. From May, it enters a new chapter inspired by the golden era of Prague gastronomy and cultivates its First Republic legacy in a modern concept that celebrates honesty and an authentic experience.

Brasserie 1932 builds on the belief that food should bring both joy and emotion. That is why its menu also includes dishes that carry a piece of history. The signature dish – pork confit with a creamy root vegetable sauce – is a tribute to the iconic scene from the Czech film comedy Pelíšky (Cozy Dens), which is inextricably linked to the history of the Alcron restaurant. Light nostalgia and typical Czech humor are thus a natural part of the local cuisine. The choice left for the guests is whether they prefer the legendary “nok” or a traditional dumpling, just like the beloved film characters.

The kitchen is headed by chef Leonhard Wenzel, who returns with a vision based on exceptional Czech ingredients, inspired by the richness of the seasons and elevated by refined French technique. The menu is built on the best local ingredients with a fresh and thoughtful culinary approach.

Brasserie 1932 in Almanac X Alcron Prague is a place for the delight of sharing food, enjoying carefully selected Central European wines and its honest gastronomy. This beloved Prague restaurant is now entering a new era, where historical heritage naturally meets contemporary spirit.
